I ran a workout today on the track. 2X800 in 2:24 with a long recovery. In the first interval we ran 70 for the first lap and Benjamin and I ran 73 for the second. I outkicked JoJo and he ran 2:26. We tried to get him to do the second interval for a while, so I got a longer recovery than I was supposed to. Anyway, in the second interval we ran 71 for the first lap and 73 for the second. The first lap felt better than in the last interval. But in the second lap my legs were really worn out. I was only a second away from my 800 PR both times, so a pretty good workout. Next time I'll see if I can make it to 1000 in 3:00.
